Depends in what sense they mean advance of right wing extremism. I see it in the sense of losing Senate, House, White House, courts.

Although we won't get a chance to see it but I highly doubt Bernie would lose over a thousand seats during his tenure. I highly doubt Bernie would then force Tom Perez on the party to continue the mediocrity, and I highly doubt Bernie would spawn off two of the worst Presidential candidates in the modern history (but I don't really know how much Obama can be blamed for Hillary and Biden).

That's largely because Bernie is white. :yeshrug:

The loss of Democratic power and rise of Trump was mostly backlash against having a black president. There's not much Obama could've done about white voters feeling threatened.

:snoop:I have my problems with Bernie, but we don’t need this. Not committing to supporting Bernie if he is the nominee is wack. So she would rather see Trump get a second term, before she would support Bernie? She need to go away.
Because at the end of the day centrists Democrats have a lot more in common and a lot more love for Republicans than progressives :francis:

You're a fool if you don't think Biden, Schumer and them would much rather sit down with Lindsey Graham and McConnell than Bernie, AOC, Ilhan Omar :manny:

Or maybe that set of progressives are as disruptive to the other half of their party as tea party members were to the Republican Party.

really wish we could hold a referendum to move to a parliamentary. Two party system is trash

Trump helps oligarchs make more money. Bernie will hurt their profits. The ruling class would definitely rather have Trump than Bernie.

True that had a lot to do with it but Obama administration and DNC never did anything to counter it. They never appealed to or tried to fire up the progressive base. Merrick Garland pick encapsulates everything that was done wrong.

Obama is a centrist at his core and would rather stay the course as the ship sinks than compromise on his principles. You can see it with Tom Perez pick, you can see it even now with only thing Obama will speak on is dangers of going too far left :francis:
