Im kind of surorised she thought that bush league shyt she pulled would work.
The journalistic and political consensus now is that Liz didn't actually intentionally leak this story and it wasn't a hit job from her campaign. But seeing as believing that would rob the hardcore Bernie supporters of their grievance narrative I doubt whether the truth here matters :coffee: .

Not a Bernie supporter, but I do have eyes.
Was it the same nefarious forces that caused her to pour gas on the fire in the seconds after a nationally televised debate?

Warren's version of what happened in that meeting had been a rumor in DC political/journalist circles for over a year, so it wasn't some out of left field shocking turn of events that it eventually made it to the front pages. CNN dropped it right before their last big debate when it could be deployed to maximum effect. Conspiracy theories about Elizabeth Warren shanking Sanders is great fodder for the gawking masses who treat elections like their favorite TV show or are desperately looking for reasons to hate Warren, but thinking about it for more than a second would indicate that it's a highly unlikely course of action for Warren to take. :coffee:

That's kind of a false equivalence isn't it? I see TBC as problematic for giving air to people pushing natural/alternative medicine junk. Whereas Rogan gives air to people pushing things ranging from scientific racism to rape apologia among other odious beliefs.

Rogan is also an uncritical douche and will nod along with almost anything.

This is a cornerstone issue for me. I also fully recognize that a lot people don't really care and are only using this to attack Bernie, but I can't control what other people do.

I'm not a Biden supporter, and dread having to vote for him if he is the nominee.

As far as Warren and her recipes are concerned, you won't get any defense outta me for that.

I can't take Rogan at his word. It's another thing if he produced something showing they reached out, but as it stands, I just don't believe him. I mean, it doesn't make sense for the "have the conversation" guy to turn any of them down. It also doesn't make sense for Biden to seek an interview with someone like that... especially when he's talked about Biden and how handsy he is w/ women and children in the past. Further, that risk *always* existed. His bigoted history is long.

What possible reason would he have to lie about them wanting to be in the show? Especially when he said it in a casual conversation way before this silly outrage. :stopitslime:

Man, do you really think Joe Biden - who can barely speak coherently for a couple of minutes at a time and whose team aggressively guards him from doing even basic mainstream media hits - would want to sit for a 2 hour interview with Joe Rogan? :comeon:

Everyone went on the Breakfast Club because the black community is an important part of every candidate's outreach strategy. Joe Rogan and his anti-establishment, MMA bro viewership only really make sense as a highly valuable constituency for Bernie's campaign. And :mjlol: at the idea of Rogan being some paragon of integrity and truthfulness, dude is a moron who believed Obama was born in Kenya. He was probably just wolfing when he shot off that offhanded comment.

Oh please, why didn’t she try to squash it right away instead of playing coy and letting it fester? Why did she pull her little stunt after the debate.
