Bobby Powell and 22 other black leaders in Florida endorse Elizabeth Warren
Sen. Bobby Powell of West Palm Beach is among 23 black political and social leaders in Florida who have just endorsed Elizabeth Warren in the upcoming Florida Democratic presidential primary, her campaign announced Tuesday.
The supporters are expected to promote Warren’s “Working Agenda for Black America” platform, which includes student debt cancellation to help close the wealth gap between black and white families, a criminal justice plan to help end mass incarceration, a housing plan to help families buy homes in formerly redlined areas, and a plan to close the start-up capital gap for entrepreneurs of color, among other plans.

She was the one that put her DNC Vice Chairmanship on the line in support of Bernie in 2016. How do people still forget and ignore that shiit. i don't have any particular set out outlets i go to, i simply google and click links and hope there's no paywall or ask for me to disable my adblocker. it was brought up a lot in everything from NYT to Businessinsider to CBS News to more left leaning/online only pubs, and like my edit to that post, there was a media blast a few days before he declared with his apology for stop & frisk. i think they've covered it, quite frankly i had S&F in my mind as a guiliani thing, the media in general did a good job in letting this californian know it was bloomberg

i'll be proven right when shes not the nominee. if i was progressive i'd be supporting bernie, so i had the best chance of winning.i just dont want to see the party splinter into 10 pieces when everyone's best friend isnt the nominee, because that's exactly where this primary is heading
