The Republicans went with moderate Romney in 2012 and floundered, then ditched moderate Jeb Bush in 2016 and won. Reagan was considered a radical among Republicans and won by some of the biggest election margins in history. The last actual radical with a chance the Democrats put up was probably Bobby Kennedy, if he hadn't been killed he likely would have dominated that election.

whats the outlook on numbers when other moderates begin to drop. Will sanders be able to maintain leads? this is my main concern. im going to vote for whoever the dem nom is. as a #lizbo i cant see it happening for her anymore. so im pulling for bernie. but i have concern over if the bidens and the amys drop are they automatics for pete and how many of the lizbos are locks to vote for bernie
