How much pull does the Congressional Black Caucus have?
Enough to hurt Biden moving forward?

“Options” are a cop out and a complete hedge. If one option is being attacked or not well liked or doesn’t poll well Bernie can just minimize that option and point to the other options. It becomes a shell game. So then his funding plan morphs to fit whatever audience he is in front of. You can’t evaluate the cost benefit because there are no details. This is Bernie’s signature proposal. You can’t be serious about passing M4All and not have the nuts and bolts of a plan already ready.

It took took Liz to actually come in and provide an actual framework to pay for Bernie’s signature program. And Bernie supporters immediately beat her down because “things, ya know”

This is the same thing the Republicans did with the corporate tax cuts. “Trust me, this will benefit society as a whole” but like Bernie, never filled in the details on where the money comes from.

It ain’t about that. It’s about slandering the only other person on the left in the race and giving left-wing credence to bad faith centrist arguments. She didn’t have to go out like this. She tried to call him a sexist to stop the bleeding from her campaign and it blew up in her face and she’s been petty like this ever since. She saw Klobuchar coming up for the women vote and tried a one-two punch of consolidating the feminist vote and some of the progressive vote from Bernie. It failed and was a terrible strategy. It’s the same way Kamala failed to take down Biden. You look cool on stage but ultimately turns a lot of people off if it appears scripted. It is unlike her. I just think that she was advised wrong and now she’s angry. Maybe she is angling to be the VP for a centrist? I’m genuinely confused.
wouldnt mind that at all :ehh: coming from massachusetts, she just gets replaced by a dem anyway

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
They're talking shyt to real people. In 2020 we have to stop pretending threats on the internet is okay behavior.

Considering the amount of doxing and online to offline violence we've seen I think it's safe to say that firewall has been broken.

Well they can report it to the authorities if they were trheatened. There's laws for that already.

I never knew you were so concerned about online harassment. President Trump gets hit with it every day. Poor guy :(

Its funny how these dudes make so made so many nonsense arguments on how we need Liz in the race to somehow help beat centrists by splitting the progressive vote (:what:)

Now we see her decreasing ad spending in Nevada and SC while levying more criticism on bernie in that same race:francis: Liz campaign slowly dropping the veneer of presidential ambition and revealing itself to be sabotage effort we all know it was

Lmao at the dummies putting their money toward this. I dont ever wanna see yall in TLR talking about some damn scammers ever again. Even Tariq nasheed fans getting better returns:mjlit:

Why is he always framed as some victim. Its been 2 states and she is third in delegates, why does she have to drop out?
Who said anything about dropping out? He’s a victim here of an obvious as fukk coordinated attack. Looking at the evidence and saying otherwise is bullshyt.

I don't believe she tried calling Bernie a sexist to stop the bleeding from her campaign. Reporting has indicated the leak didn't come from her camp, but I don't believe Bernie supporters will ever believe that, so it is what it is.

As for the turn into the woman angle, from a strategic perspective, I think it was the only way out for her and a fair move. I'm genuinely curious, if you were a Warren campaign advisor, what would you have advised her to do? M4A was the turning point. After seeing how harshly the Bernie left rejected her adding to the M4A movement by providing a full funding plan and realistic transition plan, she made the fair assessment that she could never win them over. So her left flank is gone. Her poll numbers are dropping. She's was, at this point, the sole prominent woman in the race, and had already been forced to confront the woman problem she was doggedly avoiding the entire race. What would you have suggested she do at this point? Leaning into it was a fair strategy. She's already done all she can do on the policy side. Leaving the woman angle on the sideline as your campaign sputters would be political malpractice imo. :yeshrug:

I mean you’re a fukking clown, first of all. Secondly I have donated to her campaign a number of times when I still believed she was a progressive. Big follower supporters on twitter of hers are jumping ship after 2 states. Her stint as a “progressive” is over
Good to know your definition of progressive is "doesn't harm the reputation of Bernie Sanders'" and not, you know, anything policy related. If you think Warren is no longer a progressive, good luck getting any progressive shyt actually done when Bernie is in office.

Warren's got terrible advisors :yeshrug:. She focused on Bernie when she shoulda focused on Pete then coupled herself with Klobuchar who was the one person that could peel off the "I'm ready for a female president" voters. She should be doing better, her strategy failed.

She has attacked Pete more than she has attacked Bernie though...her biggest attack of the whole primary has been going at him for the wine cave stuff and then she shot at him last debate on race. She's teamed up with Bernie more than anyone else. Honestly seems like Bernie people are just sensitive that she's not content with being his VP and wants to win herself.
