When the average American can't come up with $400 for an emergency expense, does it really matter?
Oh now it doesn't matter? You changed your tune quick from even a post ago. lol
Hmmm . . . so what you are saying is we probably need to increase the social safety net? Hmmm . . . if only there was a presidential candidate doing that. Am I right?! :krs:

What is this guy doing? :snoop:

Seems like he's always out playing the victim - which is fine if he's down, but with a commanding lead in the polls it makes no sense. The next 2-3 months need to be spent building a coalition of supporters by broadening the base, not alienating "establishment" Democrats.

I hope y'all not in here defending the two-party system
They’ve been doing that for months at minimum. I gave up. Say the two party system is trash and then create an argument why your revolutionary candidate needs to further legitimize the two party system, bern brehs

reason why the ideals your candidate is fighting for will not make sense to people if he runs as an independent, bern brehs

Im a regular nikka from philly

When millions of people can plainly understand that its refrencing the 1%/ oligarch class but you dont is how I know you're being intellectually dishonest.

He only starting going in on billionaires AFTER he became a millionaire. Before that it was millionaires and billionaires. There's tons of articles I can quote. You ignoring that is intellectually dishonest.

When you dont recognize inflation/steeper wealth inequality is the reason for the distinction change in millionare/billionaire I know you're being intellectually dishonest.

He was going in on millionaires five years ago....ironically and conveniently....BEFORE he made millions. Inflation is 2% a year. The purchasing power of the US dollar has not degraded that much in five years.

When the point he's making about wealth inequality (that every instance of that quote segways into) is completely lost on you and you cut it out/ignore it when making your criticism i know you're being intellectually dishonest.

When you ignore the entire context of those quotes on how it would apply to his policies (the wealth tax effecting sanders himself) i know you're being intellectually dishonest.

If he is against wealth inequality, he should implement policies to help fight it. Instead, he constantly attacks and says being rich is wrong when he is rich...and it's always people who are richer than himself so he can have cover to not be attacked and included in that group. He is the elite now. Acting like he isn't wealthier than 99% of Americans is being intellectually dishonest.

Like the kind of candidate you'd pretty much be advocating for is a Pete Bootyjudge, who is not a millionaire so he has "credibility" and isnt a "hypocrite " when he chimes in on conversations about wealth inequality and the working class. Nevermind him being bankrolled and advancing the agenda of the wealthy.

Pete Buttigieg is a moron.

As someone who disagrees "being a billionaire is immoral" myself, the idea that this is some grand hypocrisy because of his book sales is one I know is from someone full of shyt. Especially since you're a Warren supporter despite her espousing the same things while being a multimillionaire former Republican that spent most of her life representing the consulting class. :patrice:

I like Warren because I think she would get the most done in office and is the better politician. I don't like or agree with everything she says. I'm not a Bernie Bro Cult Member. That's y'all. I could easily vote for Biden/Amy/Whoever if needed. Warren doesn't bother me as much because she doesn't come off like a Holier-than-Thou Self Righteous Fundamentalist like Bernie does, preaching all that garbage while having millions himself.

Yes nikka, intellectually dishonest

He is trying to win the nomination, aren't the "Establishment" rational actors who will vote blue no matter who? He is doing fine. lol
