Except that the emergency room is literally the most expensive way to do it. Right off the bat taxpayers would save money via not using the stupidest possible way to treat someone. Plus having healthier people would save society in multiple other ways - higher work productivity, lower transmission of disease, etc. Plus most illegal immigrants are young working people who rarely use the doctor except in emergencies or for acute situations anyway - they don't have the chronic diseases and elderly issues that account for most health care costs. The researchers are split on whether providing health insurance to illegal immigrants would even cost or save money considering the demographics.18 billion a year they dont deserve healthcare beyond that if they want full comprehensive plans come through the border legally foh

Put some of his problematic views to the side, Rahm Emanuel has never lost an election that he's been a part of as an advisor or as the candidate. Never.
He won the mayorship twice, he won House races 4x, he's won elections w/ Obama, Clinton, Daley, etc. in advisor roles, and as DCCC chair he helped flip the House for Democrats in '06. Dude is a known scumbag, and I don't agree with him on a range of issues, but I'd rather listen to a Democrat that's been in the trenches and is a proven winner than people like Nina Turner, Cynthia Nixon, and some of these kooky JDs that have little to no history of winning anything.
