If you really believe what you're saying, then smartest, most progressive move from Bernie's side would just be to let her campaign die its natural, inevitable death while highlighting their shared progressive principles to woo her supporters. She's of no threat to Bernie. But instead, we've seen her being attacked more by the biggest Bernie boosters than even Bloomberg in the past few weeks

Simply put: Liz's path to victory would end up being an affront to democracy and her only effect in hanging around till the is taking whatever share of the progressive vote.
Bernie is the majority second choice for her voters, she attacks him constantly and progressives need all the votes they can get to stop the superdelegates.
