Maybe Bernie bro's just know who's more likely to lie or compromise those ideals when the bribes start being thrown.
Sure...
Problem is Bernie will compromise to get his policies through congress... he’s just not as upfront about it as the other candidates.
Or of course he could be a do nothing president i suppose.

I'm not talking about potential policy compromises that are made in the face of obstruction from congress.

I'm talking about who people trust to stand on their convictions and things they say they "want" in the NOW and why that is.

I like Liz, I really do. She moves like a politician; no issues there. Before trump came into the political sphere, she’d have my support.
Post trump, this election is maga vs Bernie bro’s. Unstoppable force meets immovable object
Bernie is the only one with a movement strong enough to counter trump. He’s there to pull the party left from the clutches of the right wing

IMO, shifting the ?overton window? Is just as important as any legislation they mange to push thru this congress.

Even more important is keeping this movement active when/if he takes office unlike Obama, which is why his VP needs to be on board with his vision and able to take the reigns in 2024.

What point do you think you're making by posting a video that predates the changes made to the pledged delegates/super-delegates system? Bernie's people had a large say in those changes as well.

"But the commission’s most adamant reformers, most of whom were appointed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), characterized the outcome as a major win for the Democratic Party’s disillusioned progressive wing. The acceptance of Sanders surrogates was essential to the commission’s success, since evidence that the DNC had favored Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential primary and the anger it inspired among Sanders supporters fueled the creation of the commission.

“I hope that the grassroots [activists] who have felt dismissed and who have lost faith in the party ... understand that they have had warriors on this commission who are completely in line with their values and that we fought and we won a lot to make this party inclusive,” said Nomiki Konst, a Sanders appointee to the commission."

Asked what his message would be for the hardened cynics on the grassroots left, Jim Zogby, president of the Arab American Institute, and another Sanders pick on the commission, declared that he too “went into [the commission] a hardened cynic ― as late as yesterday.”

“I was convinced we weren’t gonna win anything,” he continued. “Overnight there was a sense that we had to come to closure on these, and people were willing to step forward on all of them.”

Bernie's people wanted superdels gone alltogether, putting them on the second ballot was a compromise.

And the point is to show those who keep acting like "Bernie Bro's" mistrust and even anger at Warren is unwarranted that it actually is. She went from saying she didn't believe in superdelegates and not wanting them to sway elections to saying fukk the will of the people and bu bu bu Bernie wrote the rules! She's full of shyt.

This is true. My issue is clowns in here diminishing her work in Congress.

Like I said if is to be president you need allies in the senate that closely align with your vision. You think people like joe manchin, Kristen sinema and em are gonna go with any policy you throw out?:why:

This only makes sense if you're holding her to a different standard. She's 100% correct in stating that she's only playing within the rules agreed upon by Bernie and his people. Instead of being mad at her, be mad at Bernie for changing his stance now that it looks like he has a real shot. :manny:

He didn't change his stance, he said that the super delegates in the states where he won by a good margin should take their lead from the voters and should do the same for Clinton. That should be a given, but they were already lining up behind her before she announced and in public while the actual people were voting.

It's not the same and the narrative that he all of a sudden doesn't want to play by rules that he wrote is disingenuous at best.

She's playing the game, I get it but Warren supporters talking that 'ally' shyt and playing dumb like people are picking on her and hurting the coalition are being ridiculous IMO.

Futhermore, I'm of the opinion that Trump should be defeated.
If its Bernie, who does he pick? Warren?
The margins in WI will be tight, so if Baldwin being on the ticket is the difference between winning and losing the election (we can lose WI and still win via NC/AZ) then you pick her.

Anyway, his margins aren't that large and he needs to unify party regardless so it should be a reconciliatory pick. Although I dislike her, Kamala Harris checks all those boxes and, as a politician, she occupies the space between moderate and progressive. Cortez Masto or Whitmer would be fine as well.

Finally, since he'd likely win the nomination without the majority of black support he needs to do something to solidify that base. While Abrams isn't qualified to be on the ticket (which apparently no longer matters given the advent of Buttigieg), I suppose she'd be another option.
