I don’t know about you but i look forward to posts of random tweets bashing a 4th place candidate who is also the only other progressive option.

I want to be reminded over and over and over again how horrible she is as a person and occasionally that she is a snake for daring to challenge our dear leader.

This is interesting, this post is on pg 2182.

On pg 2181, the tweets posted are
Nap posting a twitter thread bashing Shaun King.
Nap posting a tweet about Bernie Bro's holding the Democrats hostage if Bernie has the delegate lead but not 51% of the vote.
Nap posting tweets attacking Ben Jealous for saying that winning is winning about the same delegate math.

Pg 2180
FAH posts a tweet with polling data
Nap posts an article about essays by Bernie from 1969
Android Hero posts a tweet to an NYT article about Biden admitting to lying during this current campaign about a civil rights arrest
FAH posts a tweet to an article about Bernie's campaign strategy employing something new

Pg 2179
Nap posts a tweet about a baseball owner being approached by Warren's super PAC
Dtownreppin posts a tweet to a video about superdelegates from Nomiki Konsts and says Sanders supporters are punching down and pushing conspiracy theories
Nap posts a tweet from Clyburn's grandson about Bernie supporters
Tru_m.a.c. links to a Propublica article that says Bloomberg helped the Sackler family with communications to handle negative coverage in 2017
Nap posts a WaPo article saying Bernie's not authentic authored by George W Bush's speech writer

Pg 2178 we finally find a tweet from a Bernie head that relates to Warren...it's polling data that Bernie's leading in her home state.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. I heard about Bernie Bro's unfairly targeting Warren using tweets, but the pages I scrolled back were mostly discussions or data...the barrage tweets all come from one source who's mostly vapid and mostly aimed at Bernie.

no one else has dropped after 3 contests, fukking tulsi gabbard is still running. again, why should she? you might have had a point if the moderates weren't still running 4 candidates, yet two progressives is an issue?
All the moderates think they can capture the moderate vote.
Sanders got the progressive vote locked down.

Hope you're still donating to her campaign

So this article is telling us not to believe people would vote for Bernie? I’m sorry, this is drivel.
The article is just saying that socialism isn't popular.

Seems fair considering how much we talk about Americans not being willing to vote for a gay man or a woman, but the data tells us a different story.

This whole discussion of gotchas is silly tbh. No person in the race is better than another when it comes to inconsistencies and I don't even hold any candidate to it when it comes to this. Because these people are in it to win at all cost unless real barriers like money constraints and impossible/unlikely to ever get a note worthy amount of delegates to make a case to be the nominee at the convention.

I've been meaning to make a comment in this thread something like this too.

Damn near everyone (except @FAH1223 ) is posting on too much dumb shyt and arguments right now. Way too many "gotchas!" (that never mean shyt in the actual election) and not enough substance. If I was making the rules:

* lay off on "who hired who" That might be worth a thought once in a while it it comes with a lot of receipts and feeds into a larger narrative but it's way overplayed now.

* lay off on being constantly offended about what random people on the internet say just because you want a fight. If they have either power or insight, quote them. If they have neither, just ignore them.

* lay off on insulting other people's supporters. WAY too many people doing that in this thread from damn near all the campaigns. It's always counterproductive whether it's justified or not. I'm sure the best presidents in history had bigoted a$$holes who pulled the lever for them, that doesn't mean anything and the narrative is REALLY tired by now.

* stop taking shyt out of context. Most folk aren't doing this but there are some really, really bad offenders in this thread who either can't read or are people purposefully disingenuous to twist a narrative.

* try and think, before your post, if anyone is going to be enlightened by it. I need to do this better myself.

No one got to listen to me at all. But we've backtracked in quality on this thread and I don't want to give up on it.

Of course it’s not popular, many Americans don’t know what socialism is or think the USSR was socialist. America has fought a 100 year propaganda war against socialism. 10 years ago, Americans had an unfavorable view of cannabis too.

It’s useless babble because people are supporting Sanders anyway. The labels are irrelevant.

edit: America did give the plurality of support to a woman. And I don’t think Americans wouldn’t support a gay man or lesbian. The women candidates in this election either have ran a bad campaign (EWarren) or appeal to no one except 55 and over white woman from Minnesota (AmyK). Gays don’t even like Buttigieg, so it comes down to the quality of the candidate, not their identity.
