I hate that they're framing this like "Bernie is embracing Elizabeth Warren's big idea" when Bernie literally proposed a wealth tax in his white paper for funding M4A in 2016. I point that out, not because I care about who said it first since I just want good legislation to be passed (Piketty probably said it first anyway); but it highlights that the same talking heads that constantly push "Warren has plans and Bernie only has ideas" never actually bothered looking at Bernie's plans which are laid out pretty clearly. I really just wanna keep pushing back against the Bernie doesn't have a plan narrative.

the reason bernie gets labeled as "ideas" is the lead from that... "i don't think billionaires should exist"

good fukking luck, even if for some reason people really believe this shyt....it aint' happening. warren comes out not on some idealistic shyt like that, she just hits you with the "i'mma let yall live, you gonna get taxed, but by all means, be a billionaire"

even if on paper their plan was exactly the same, how you frame things is a key component to being a politician.
