Honestly looking at the field right now, I would say Trump has a 60% of winning re-election unless the recession starts before the Election Day. Based on 2016-2018, I still think a moderate white guy is the best shot. America is too racist and sexist to elect a minority/woman as President right now. America has clearly gone backwards since 2008-2012 when Obama won.

Some of you forget that this is still a center right country. Don’t forget how well Abrams and Gillum were polling by running progressive campaigns and then on election night, they lost.

If youre not in a small area Id recommend looking into the candidate that makes you the least , find out when they're coning to your area, assemble fellow ADOS/brehs down with the cause and pressing candidates about reparations when they come by for their press tour. They get asked enough times by enough voices someones going to see the sense in developing reparation policy. Dont let your frustrations with the Dems take you out the process, force the Dems to adjust to the needs of their most important voting demographic

Yeah, at this point I'm pretty sure Trump is getting reelected unless the economy crashes. Like you said, polls are unreliable because a significant percentage of white people lie about who they'll vote for.
But I don't think it's that the US is "center right" so much as it's just and the Democratic party happens to be associated with minorities.

That’s already a given but looking at even supposed “blue states” they elect center-right candidates like Baker in MA, Hogan in MD, Christie in NJ etc.

As soon as America makes any progress liberally, the public pulls hard to pull it back to the center-right. There’s no reason Al Gore and Clinton should’ve lost after the relatively good years of B Clinton and Obama.

Then republicans will fukk shyt up and then as soon as the democrat cleans up their mess, before being able to build on it, they go right back.

Trump won the presidency by 80,000 votes in the upper Midwest.

He’s underwater there. He’s even treading water in Ohio. Dems swept statewide elections in MN, MI, WI and PA in 2018.

He has a very narrow path.

I am convinced Biden and Bernie would kick his ass in those states. You don’t need Florida. You don’t need Georgia. You don’t even need Ohio!!

This is like saying West Virgnia will potentially be blue in 2020 because they elect Democrats state-wide all the time. Massachusetts and a lot of New England and Mid Atlantic states just have old people and white people that hate paying taxes. Those Republicans win in off-years against trash competition.
