We have to be honest. We aren't as politically active. I hate to say it, but when I go canvassing or attend these rallies its more black women there.
That’s true but that is also a function of education. Black women are earning 2/3 college degrees earned by black people. It’s almost a self-fulfilling prophecy.

The thing is, I'm starting to peep that people (and not bots mind you) on social media are starting to have the same views an opinions as those dudes in TLR where they legit think that because the Democratic Party hasn't specifically given Black people anything, that the logical step is to align with the GOP, who is actually actively doing shyt to harm Black people.

They believe that the Dems are specifically catering to LGBTQ folk and illegal immigrants, which in turn is essentially making them the "Black Wing" of the GOP.

These are ideas that are growing and getting louder too...
Social media doesn’t reflect reality. 90 percent of black people votes Dem in 2018.

I'm not disputing that at all...you are correct :hubie:

But this reparations talk along with this ADOS movement is getting louder and louder :yeshrug:
Brother exodus, what is your take on the idea of reparations? And also your opinion on ADOS?

i've posted more on illegal immigration and black america than anyone else on this forum

Which is why it's frustrating to see your genuine confusion about concepts and topics that have existed in the immigration debate even when Obama was in office. I can't tell if it's disingenuous or you really missed these stories from our recent history. But to be surprised at critiques of Obama's immigration policy is laughable from someone who seems so invested in attacking immigration proponents. As if a path to citizenship wouldn't be a great way to address the problem of owners exploiting illegal immigrants to keep wages down.

Missing point in immigration is how industry entices them here, shyt even helps them cross the border.

Brother exodus, what is your take on the idea of reparations? And also your opinion on ADOS?
Based on my readings in TLR, it seems that despite being born here in America, being raised my entire life to love all my Black brothers and sisters, Team Reparations as well as ADOS considers me not "Black", despite the fact that my entire family is from the Caribbean (Trinidad and Dominica), that I am in fact descended from slaves, and that I have faced discrimination in this country just like any other person of African decent.

That's my views on reparations and ADOS :yeshrug:
