Nah, it's an emerging rural swing county that the Democrat in the race misread and thought he had on lock. It is historically Dem in terms of party registration, but not party identification. It's a third Lumbee Indian, a third Black, and a third white Dixiecrat. Lumbee is the swing vote and they went with the Republican because of his votes for them on the state level in terms of tribal recognition. A few more stayed home because they didn't see a difference between the two candidates.
Gonna make it rain on the debate stage.

IMO, Harris and Biden should watch out for her...
Why does New Hampshire (and the northeast in general) not fukk with Warren? Is there some local politics matter that I don't know about? Somebody enlighten me why her backyard, which is full of educated Dems, is kind of iffy about her.

There's no Dem that can win Texas right now; maybe in another 10 or 15 years.
But I do worry about how many voters just won't vote for a woman. Still, at that point you get into "electiblity" arguments.

Every clip I’ve seen lately is her painting a Bernie vs Warren battle. Doesn’t talk about Biden and how to take him down . Not a peep about Kamala, Pete, Corey or o rourke
It’s just warren Warren Warren. She talks about warrens only base of support is affluent white liberals but I’ve seen quite a warren contingency here in the coli.
