All of these polls are bunk. Donesnt matter how good your methodology is, taking polls this far out is always going to be inherently flawed.

Steyer and biden are probably both doing what carson did in 2015 and targetinging boomers to skew early polling. Carson was still gaming polls enough to be first in some at this time in 2015

All of this polling and media horse race coverage could easily be a chapter out of manufacturing concent

Also,
Gay marriage didn’t poll high in the 80s, 90s and 00s, but Bernie supported it. Eliminating private insurance doesn’t poll high, but yet he supports it(I support it to). Keeping private insurance and creating a public option polls much higher, but Medicare For All is the better policy so I support it even if it don’t poll as high. But when it comes to a Black issues that is when they want to talk about polling. Also Lopez point wasn’t only about reparations, it was on how Bernie talks about race as a whole.

That's one of my issues with Bernie and a lot of his White supporters. Bernie supports everything else, but somehow Reparations is too touchy for him. It makes him look hypocritical.

It's a difference in worldview. Warren is more natural and comfortable talking about racial justice because she's a deeply intersectional thinker. You can see it in her plans and the way she communicates them. Bernie isn't as comfortable talking about these issues because he's an old-school labor-liberal who believes in a class-first worldview.

That's one of my gripes about him and his hardcore supporters think the same way. They have this, "we're all in this together" mentality when we're not. They ignore blatant racial disparities within class.

They don't understand our problems in this country are more complex.

Racial justice is a major component of Bernie's campaign AND yes, the working class is all in this together. Multiple things can be true at the same time.

We know for a fact, because @Mephistopheles went and found the receipts, that this specific "reparations 2020 or we won't vote" thing is funded by fukking white nationalist/supremacist organizations. I'm not talking about Ta Nehisi Coates or the historical fight for reparations. I'm talking about this very specific one thing, and you know what I mean. This Yvette Carnell thing that TLR loves.

White supremacists obviously don't want to pay you reparations. They obviously don't want you to vote, either. Gee, what could possibly be going on here?

I support reparations for slavery and Jim Crow and whatever historians will wind up calling the supposed post-Jim Crow era. I believe the Dem would lose in 2020 if this were part of their platform. NO ONE has challenged me on this.

Being pro-illegal immigration, all about LGBTQ, being too far to the left on certain issues, and other controversial B.S. is not?! If he's willing to "go there" on controversial issues, then I'm not buying he can't be about Reparations.

Enough with excuses. Bernie isn't entitled to the Black vote "just because."
