CNN panel full of millionaires with cadillac plans are basically begging Warren to abandon M4A. The media in this country... :wow:

One thing Warren and Bernie haven't said and its in the financing plan of the bill is that we are already spending nearly $2 trillion per year on healthcare via government spending on multiple programs.

If the sticker price of Medicare For All is $3 trillion per year, then what's needed is a $1 trillion plus per year in new tax revenue to finance it. We're already 55-60% there. Consolidation of existing programs would occur.

I don’t think this debate will change anything. I believe the numbers will stay the same.

It is amazing that Mayor Pete have been given a complete pass on being a shytty mayor. No one ever brings up is record on racial issues in South Ben.

No. The mayor is a testament to how lousy Joe Biden is as a candidate for presidency.

I don't understand why people are so afraid of this affordable care act. Let them try it, see if the numbers work and what they set in stone. If it doesn't work then people can just vote Republican next term and reverse the whole thing. We are in a democracy not a totalitarian state, laws, acts can be scrapped or edited what's the big deal?

You surprise the people who are clutching their pearls now in the general election. Then you remind them that we are going to assess the value of those pearls and tax it.

definitely one of the reasons why I wanted these endorsements was just to see the absolute meltdown from the cacs in the #Resist crowd who write fan fiction about Nancy Pelosi becoming president.

I'm seeing people like Bakari Sellers throwing Bernie praise for the first time. Nobody sees him as a threat anymore for the nomination after that heart attack.
Bernie was finished before the heart attack. The heart attack gives the people to pretend they give a damn like Paul Pierce retirement tour.

the people that support the squad already support bernie, is this gonna get him new voters? no

good headline i guess for his final hurrah but this wont move the needle meaningfully
He’s had an admirable career. I can see him shriveled up with a blanket over his lap as he sits in a w/c watching Warren gets sworn in only to die a couple days later like Kennedy.

:mjlol:they really have no shame

I’m sorry, I don’t think there is a farmer out there who’s worried about climate change, a woman’s right to choose her own path, or many of the “progressive ideas” out there. I don’t live in rural america. I don’t look at the Amish with envy. I don’t want my candidates eschewing the benefits of living in 1854.

I hate headline twitter. He didn't ask for himself he was playing on the narrative of progressive vs centrist. It was a fair point and a fair comment. This isn't a Nate Silver residue comment.

:gucci:

Breh, first of all wtf does "is this too urban" even mean besides the obvious :mjpls:?

He took it upon himself to throw that framing out there. The only people worried about something becoming "too urban" for politics are racists and republicans. Criticism of progressive policies and direction of the party, even the bad takes from dishonest actors, are usually centered around costs and who stands to lose money.

Not something being "too internet". What fukking century are these mainstream media millionaires even living in?
