This woman REFUSES to let the word "tax" escape her lips
Yeah all she had to say. She continues to feed the narrative that she is fake and wishy washy.
This, being a fake Native American her whole life, endorsing Big Hilly over Young Bern in 2016, being a Repub til she was 46, having the donor ask the question at the CNN townhall, being wishy washy on M4A, saying she never opposed gay marriage, etc. are minor non-scandals but are symptoms of an overall lack of authenticity that voters can sense.
If people feel she isn’t real, they’re not gonna believe her when she talks about all her plans. You can’t effectively be a populist if people don’t believe you. John Edwards is a good example of that and look how he flopped.
The whole “I have a plan” thing is bad politics for a general election anyway so I hope she scraps that and gets a new message if she’s the nominee. It reeks of elitist technocracy and won’t appeal to anyone but upper middle class big city liberals.
And it’s sad because she has policy positions I can get behind. But she is objectively a bad candidate for president.

This is why I think it's funny when people claim Liz isn't really for M4A or is some wolf in sheep's clothing on this issue. She's waging a one-woman war to defend it from Republican framing, and it's arguably the biggest trouble spot in her campaign. It would be so much easier for her to just come out with some "Medicare for All Who Want It"-esque plan like Pete did and avoid this whole argument, but she actually believes in M4A and is willing to go to the mat for it.
Great point. These lefty heads don't understand that M4A in some ways is an anchor for her politically at this point. She drops that shyt and wtf is Biden's lane at that point. She believes in that shyt but she ain't gonna give you niccas the sound bite and she isn't going to make promises she can't keep. I believe she is going to fight as hard for it as she can.
