Manchin said he’s not voting for Bernie if he is the nominee and didn’t say he wouldn’t vote for Trump in that scenario. Sinema won’t even endorse the other democratic running in her state. Said Joe Manchin is her role model.

Because China is a business partner. Biden is a businessman too.

They are an unfair business partner with lucrative one way contracts.

They’re items get subsidized to ship here, they do not pay as much in taxes to sell here as we do there, we much share all intellectual property with them to sell there, they get to have access to all emails of the companies that work there.

That’s a few of the many advantages they have over us. That’s unsustainable any person can tell you that. It may not be a big deal for now but in 30-40 years it’ll be an issue that can no longer be fixed. We are not doing business with China, we are subsidizing them. They don’t compete they steal.

Do you really want to have these same terms in the 2040’s, 2050’s? You cant

Lol this is exactly what Trump has been saying for years. You're but, do you see people slam India or Malaysia? It's not fair but doing that allows for the cheap crap americans are addicted to. It's not right but it's the same reason people besides Bernie don't go after walmart: $$$$$ Americans will have to look inside themselves and choose if they want a higher cost, higher wage society, or a lower cost, moderate to high unemployment society.

Ain't no one worrying about China when crackers are perpetually having white supremacist rallies in America.
I get that. That issue doesn’t make the China issue a non issue. I’m not a Bernie fan personally but we can’t just brush the China issue under the rug
Agreed with @Warren Moon here, that's a non-sequitur, you can say that about russia yet people talk about that.
I believe this will be the exact outcome.

I have zero faith in voters.
What was the point of the Russia, corruption, trump's grossness if we put in a guy a that just an insider and who will do the typical dc dirt behind closed doors. Was this really all because trump said mean things? Hell his son pound of pound isn't all that much better then Donald and his family. @Jhoon? help explain this?

The issue with China is 1000x larger than the issue with India or Malaysia.

Trumps right about it, so was Bernie. That’s why ppl voted for him. That issue effected ppl way more than any other social issues the dems presented. The American worker is not on the same level of playing field as other countries. China is a developed nation, there’s no more let’s just help them out agreements.

Same rules both ways. That’s it. That’s all ppl want

He said he won't vote for Bernie if he's the alternative to Trump?

300,000 people...probably 225,000 are Dems...175000 still alive and living in GA. You have a full calendar year to find these people. No excuses. Tired of all the whining. We get it, Republicans are evil, it's time to fight back in every state that this is occurring.

Yup she needs to personally go to every single house as far as I'm concerned

Definitely wouldn't be voting for Bernie in a Bernie vs Trump but he wouldn't rule out voting for Trump. Not directly related but probably worth noting Bernie took every county in West Virginia in the 2016 primary (credited to heavy support from coal workers)

Basically he wouldn't vote for Sanders and hasn't ruled out voting for Trump in that scenario. I guess he'd write himself in?

Anyway, Manchin is just being Manchin. He'll vote with the Republicans if he knows it would pass/fail regardless of his vote and he votes with the Democrats when it's necessary (eg saving ACA, hell he voted sgainst the tax bill). When he ran for reelection he welcomed being primaried from the left. He's playing the game the best way he knows how to remain viable to his MAGA constituents.

I'm not sure he needed to say that, but I'll defer to his judgment.

the dem party is so fukking weak, why even have people like this in the party. You never heard republicans say this type of shyt, at most they'll disagree with trump and promote themselves or find someone else in the party to tap. Dems stay showing they ass, just go ahead and cross the line, why are you a dem in the first place?

My only complaint is that the "vote blue no matter who" and the "how dare AOC endorse primary challengers to incumbent Democrats" media types who have conniptions over the divisiveness of progressives often miss the sort of pot shots that Manchin is taking on Fox News against someone who is among the top three contenders in the presidential primary. I'm fairly indifferent to it, it's Manchin, we know this is him...but they should keep the same "party unity" energy all around because it gets exposed as nothing more than a cudgel when this type of behavior doesn't get called out imo.
