Sanders plan does include extensive labor protections. I'll give him that but that's a separate bill.

Sanders doesn't currently have a plan or at least nothing public...

Or you're saying he has some dead bill in the senate or that he wants to pass?

Cornyn's approval ratings are in the 30's in Texas, Trump's is only 47%. The issue is Beto's mandatory buyback stance is a no-go in Texas. Even Dems in this state love their guns.

Beto has shown a lot of moral clarity on the gun issue and on racism in this country. I really don't know why he catches so much flack on here.
Yeah he’s a decent guy. But I think the Coli echo chamber loves to bash everybody that isn’t their preferred candidate. That picture of his supporters is hilarious though I bust out laughing at that.

he shoulda stuck to the senate maybe he’ll go back after more time. I wanna know what changed he was literally just on TBC.

Yeah I have no particular problem with Beto, but it was too soon for him to run for President.

He would've done more good running for whatever office in Texas and having a positive downballot effect on other Democrats (ie. 2018) than in a crowded field against Trump.

Castro press sec sending shots at Pete

Thankfully Pete seems to be cooked outside of Iowa/NH because he'd be dangerous if he had some type of opening with non white voters. This dude was literally created out of a DC lab and all these ghouls love him. (former Bush press sec)

Yeah lol. I always felt like Cornyn's standing was always overrated. Cruz might be despised, but he has a lot more name recognition and he has Evangelicals in his corner. The issue is Beto kinda poured jelly on himself with his gun stance. I can't emphasize enough how much Texans love their guns.
Interesting, I always thought Cornyn was the Texas version of Rob Portman (i.e. a generic Republican statesman). I figured he was just inoffensive by Texas standards so he wouldn't be in any danger.

Ohio has a pretty robust gun culture so I imagine Texas is Ohio on 10. He clearly wasn't thinking about politics when he initially said it. I can respect that as a man, but I think it's emblematic of how green he is as a politician. Three terms in HR without any national exposure isn't much.

Personally, I think it's better to be an unemployed politician, than Zuckerberg's well-fed pet.
