It doesn't change much. Just interesting to see the sexism at work, as suddenly Bernie becomes the victim for saying shyt that he shouldn't have said.

People make Bernie out to be infallible and paper over his blind spots.. If he becomes president they will be more disappointed with him than they were with Obama.

Basically Bernie said if she ran Trump would be sexist to her which he does on the daily. Warren is stating that he said a women couldn't win. Evidence has been posted that Bernie has said quite the opposite since the 80s plus it would be incredibly dumb to say some shyt like that to someone who's running against you. It could be true but I'm airing on the side of Warren's team running a hail mary here.

Many people believed Hillary would easily beat Trump, and because she lost now believe that Democrats must run a man in 2020. That's not some wild random belief, I've seen it posted here multiple times by many posters. Bernie trying to recruit Warren in 2016, before Trump was the nominee, or giving Tulsi's DOA campaign a pat on the back or clips him saying in the 80s he hopes a woman eventually wins the Presidency is not evidence refuting the claim that he told Warren he doesn't think a woman can beat Trump in 2020. Sanders people are smartly trying, and largely succeeding I think, in turning this into a referendum on whether Sanders is a sexist or not, even though that's not a charge Warren or the story made.

That's all well and good, but when WaPo even reports the context of the events reflecting exactly what Bernie said, I think that's pretty telling. WaPo rarely misses out on a chance to attack him.



This is completely different context (and Warren hasn't provided any context whatsoever). This reflects what Bernie said in his own statement, that he told Warren Trump is a sexist and misogynist. It also makes sense that in discussing a face off with Trump, the fact that Trump would sexism would come up.

Hey, yall can try to ride this to a dub if you want. I'm gonna go with Bernie being the exact same person he's always been. One who had no problem encouraging Warren to run in 2015 and Tulsi to run in 2019 prior to the 2016 and 2020 elections. Maybe this gets Warren her win, I doubt it does anything but helps Biden.

Nah, you should look at everything in contextual manner. I rock with some journalists for the NYT and completely ignore others (Jennifer Rubin) because of obvious biases.
