man, no offense, but black people young and old are voting dem. i get in some states where you need black turnout in metro areas - WI, MI - the difference between 88% black voter participation and 90% could mean a lot, but when you generally got the support of a segment of voters at an 85%+ clip, i'mma need yall to stop looking at us like "we gotta do better to get them dems across the line". a whole bunch of the so-called dem coalition/people yall keep expecting to vote more dem (latinos, women) need to do their part. fukk outta here pinning the balance of civility on us :mjpls:

i'm just tired of our loyalty being 1) overlooked 2) expected to be as high as voting for the first black president, like let's be real here, some conservative black folks came over to support him in the same way nikkas in the hood supported that sellout OJ - it was a get a win for the race thing :ld:

By trying to speak to populism in a way that they can see as befitting their lives as is in 2020. The issue is the type of populism we see today isn't necessarily the sort of thing that get's older black folks to the ballot box. Quite frankly if you have to choose or if you have limited resources as a white candidate you will always go after the older black vote. This is why Biden is in the lead there despite not really having any sort of detailed plans for African Americans....instead you see him at church, going to cookouts, hanging out at HBCUs, bigging up his Obama days....that sort of shyt speaks to older black voters but has younger blacks like :stopitslime: where the tangibles at.

Breh y’all gotta stop saying this flat out bullshyt.

Biden had 3/10 young black voters. Bernie has 4/10 young black voters.

Young black voters fukk with Biden. y’all keep acting like the progressive left appeals soooo much more to young black voters. that’s the actual case, just what y’all want it to be :pachaha:

tulsi :yeshrug: young, attractive, veteran, can talk about legalizing weed and all that shyt
bro, stop with tulsi. she has the lowest favorability rating with dems of all active candidates, them alt right dudes who like her aren't voting for a dem ticket that she's on. only way she has a shot at doing anything is running independent/third party. she is not viable on a dem ticket

Yeah I don't see any upside to her as VP. Her "base" is going to vote for Trump. And women don't really fukk with her like that. Who is she really bringing to the table?

are you being obtuse on purpose or is this cac lack of self awareness? the VP pick is usually anywhere from vanilla to calculated in bringing another part of the fold, but yes, many times it is inconsequential....unless you're picking someone your party knows and actively hates. :what:

tulsi isn't some random house rep from hawaii anymore, her run actively made dem voters hate her while endearing her with people who do not vote dem...how is this not clear that she's not a good pick? stop thinking with your dikk

any dem voter that "hates tulsi" is a retard and a sheep :mjlol:and im not concerned with them staying home in 2020. at all. because they won't

i just have a different view of this 2020 race than you guys do :yeshrug: you think it's about exciting the dem base, i say that trump's presence does more than enough to excite the dem base and this election is about flipping moderates and fringe trump voters. i'd pick her off the bolded alone

when you come to terms with biden or bernie being the nominee, who would you like to see as their VP? :ehh: serious question. because frankly it should be the same person

Tulsi is basically a Republican.
And considering all the Dem frontrunners are :flabbynsick: the VP could easily be president at some point.

disagree, i think women would fukk with her big time. moving past all this primary bullshyt, when the real election starts happening and she's part of a real ticket with a real possibility of being in the white house. i think young women will fukk with her

now im not napoleon, so i don't know everything there is to know about politics :wow: i could be wrong. but seriously, who the fukk else is there? the VP should probably be someone who's at least running or is nationally prominent.
