i think i would honestly try to pair biden with a young latino/latina congressman

i see people talking about him picking amy klobuchar is she really gonna help him win anywhere that he doesnt already have?

Amy Clinton would be a terrible choice.

Based on what Biden said about what he would look for in a VP at town halls, Biden seems like the type to pick someone with experience who can be delegated a lot of Presidential responsibility, wouldn't be intimidated by the oval office, and assume the role of President. He said that's how Obama treated him. That would basically eliminate any 1st term Governor or Senator. I'd be surprised if he blinked at someone from the House side.

US Senator from Wisconsin Tammy Baldwin just won re-election in 2018. She could help Joe win Wisconsin plus she's LGBT so she'd have that locked up. But she's apparently a progressive so that would probably DQ her in Biden's eyes.

Biden should think outside the box though. It would be better to have a VP running mate that can be a spark and attract voters.

The difference is, there is no movement coming behind Biden. He is a stop-gap who isn't being followed up by anything or anyone of note, Booty Judge is the youth movement of the democratic establishment. One term of Bernie comes with successors and a grassroots movement that won't be wasted once that term is up. This has never been about fighting for Bernie's political legacy, this is about him creating an opening for democracy to actually work for the people and keeping it that way, not just getting to the next cycle to end up pitting weak ass Mayo Pete up against somebody way worse than Trump.
