Meh, the Democratic Party generally sucks and hopefully will suck less one day.

But indefinitely handing elections to a white nationalist party until I get exactly the candidate I want :comeon: that ain't it chief

And that goes for supporters of any candidate.
I think dude just doesn’t buy your premise that a robustly competitive Dem primary = a win for Trump. Neither do I. I think the opposite is true.

As others have stated, the 08 primary was much more toxic but it ended up being a plus for Obama in the general. Why would you want a candidate to go up against Trump without getting his or her nose bloodied a bit first? By getting negative attacks out first and gauging/reacting to public sentiment to it, that puts the eventual winner in a better situation than if Trump and his goofies attack them on it first and it’s introduced into the public that way.

Biden is running on at a few things from what I can tell

-electability
-obama's VP
-getting back to normalcy

What happens to that electability argument if he finishes in 2nd or worse after the first few primaries?

Seems he is poised to fall off a cliff if this central self-fulfilling argument falls apart

Nah I don't give a damn about Biden, but I don't see/sense any arrogance from Biden

I think this is just that senior citizen "I don't give a damn" energy
You’re bugging. It doesn’t get more arrogant than telling Democratic primary voters fukk you don’t vote for me. He’s done that now 3 times I think.

This is beyond Hillary level arrogance. He’s arrogant and entitled as fukk...just look at how he got his crackhead thot-impregnating bum ass son mixed up in Burisma and BHR and god knows what else while he was VP and didn’t think that was gonna be a bad look when he ran for prez. The only reason he gets away with this shyt is his silly uncle Joe public persona. He gets an undeserved benefit of the doubt because he’s an old mediocre dumb ass white man.

As much as I hate how Hillary defenders try and cover up her faults with sexism charges, I must say the fact that Hillary is seen as the embodiment of entitlement, corruption and arrogance and Joe Biden isn’t is worth pondering. Can you imagine the reaction if Hillary told multiple people at town halls “Well don’t vote for me”? Let’s not even get into “look here fat” and all the other goofy shyt this sitcom grumpy grandpa motherfukker has done in public before the first primary.

You forgot the most important part of his campaign:

- getting into scuffles with random people :russ:

There is actually an example of what could happen. Back in 2008 Rudy Guliani was the front runner for republicans. He had written off the early states and placed his bet on Florida being his firewall that would launch him to the nomination. It seemed to be a smart play, as he led in the majority of the national polls in 2007 and looked unstoppable in Florida. In fact, he led in every national poll and Florida poll from early September to early-mid December.

Then Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada happened in early January. McCain started being seen as a viable nominee again, and Rudy went from leading his firewall of Florida by as many as 20 points in December, to losing by over 20 just a month later, in late January.

Guliani went from national front runner at the start of the Iowa caucus to his campaign being over after he lost Florida 26 days later. For comparison, that 26 day gap is the same gap between Iowa and South Carolina this go round. Waiting is not an option for any campaign. You got to get a win on the board as quickly as you can.

I remember that but I also remember it being really dumb. Other candidates were full on campaigning and in the spotlight for months while Rudy would pop up with a random interview from Florida :mjlol:
