Who are these people that want this other than republicans and corporate democrats who take money from the insurance and big pharma companies?
If there was a direct correlation between what the public wants and what gets enacted by government, we wouldn't be in the situation we're in right now. There are factors besides public polling that determine what the government does. So Republicans and Corporate Dems taking money from the insurance and big pharma companies is an important factor to consider. Bernie can't overcome that with his "revolution" any more than Trump could overcome the opposition to his border wall with his MAGA army. Bernie doesn't have the votes for M4A.

The claim was made that "many VOTERS" wanted to reduce access to healthcare.

Nothing you wrote confirms that statement.

Didn't she give up on M4a after stanning it earlier on her campaign
No, in fact the opposite. She came up with the only plan to fully fund it and the only realistic plan to get it passed. But she misread the current political environment. People don't want to be shown how the magic trick is done, they just want to be wowed by the trick.

That wasn't what my post you quoted was about :hubie:

When you say "there are factors other than public polling" you are trying to undermine the polling data, which was presented in an argument that you are not addressing and attacking an argument I never made.

No nikka. She wants to fix the house on stilts before she adds another floor.

this is the problem With Bernie. warren literally did the group project homework and sanders let her take all the flack for it all while openly admitting he has no real implementation plan.

You quoted my post about M4A not passing in the current congressional environment and replied with public polling data. My point isn't that the data is false, it's that public polling isn't decisive in governmental action, and therefore isn't a serious retort to lack of congressional support for M4A. I don't know where you're going with this.

nobody likes a flip flopper :yeshrug:
Liz: I support M4A.
Media and centrist Dems: You can't pay for it or get it passed.
Liz: Actually we can. Here's how. Have employers continue to pay, but redirect payments from private insurance to government, and increase taxes on the wealthy to make up the difference. Congress and a significant amount of the public are skeptical, so let's expand it to 40% of the population in year 1, let everyone see how much better it is than the current system, which will build the support needed to expand it to the other 60% of the population by year 3.
Bernie stans: Flip-flopper! Traitor!
