Y'all spent all week saying the DNC was rigging the election for Pete.

Now Biden's their guy?

Yall conveniently avoid the fact that the majority of Dems are moderate.
Yes biden is their guy, so is pete, so is klobuhar and possibly bloomberg. Anyone who isnt rocking the boat, the problem is viability. You yourself are a biden supporter so idk why you bringing up pete

I know I didnt have to explain this, and I also know you're also still dancing around the point posed to you posts ago :umad:

Yeah CNN was explaining today how as long as Biden finishes 3rd or 4th in NH he is still in it because he has the black vote and can beat trump. Still continued to shyt on Bernie and said it doesn't matter what he's doing now

Biden will win SC. The question is, how big is the W gonna be? Bernie has the money and he just made an ad buy in the South and Super Tuesday states as a whole, one of his biggest.

Hillary was polling at an average of 27.5% over Bernie in 2016 in SC. She ended up overperforming BIG TIME by beating Bernie by 47.5% and getting 3/4s of the pledged delegates.

Right now, Biden is polling at an average of 12.5% over Bernie and Steyer. Will Biden over perform by 20 points? How decisive is the W? Will Bernie's young black supporters show up and can he peel off more OLDER supporters?

It doesn't matter because Biden isn't getting 1990 delegates. The only person running who even has a shot at that number is Sanders because he's ahead in every Super Tuesday state. This isn't going to be decided by delegate count. It's going to the convention.

Who are we included in that we? I don't trust Joe more than I trust Pete, and I barely trust them more than I trust Yang. Sanders is somewhere in that orbit

You trust Sanders less than Joe or Pete?
:dwillhuh: If you meant the opposite then ignore my post, but I don't get that at all. If you don't agree with Sanders' politics that's cool. If you don't agree with how he wants to implement his ideas that's cool too.

But the guy is clearly authentic. He's been saying the same shyt his entire life. He clearly cares about people, and he's one of the only major politicians I've ever seen (especially in the modern era) to actually talk policy positions with conviction and not dodge questions about how he'd try to implement his ideas. He gets asked how he will pay for this, or implement that, and he will give an honest answer instead of throwing out word salad.

I've even seen ads where he's hugging supporters that are crying and upset over health insurance stuff, and he's telling them he is going to fight as hard as he can for them but also says he wants to be careful not to over-promise and under-deliver. He's not promising the moon; rather he's promising that he will fight as hard as he can if elected.

He's one of the only major politicians I've ever seen that comes across as a true civil servant and not someone primarily interested in advancing their own career. Do you really think he wants to run the free world? I don't. I think he's running because he believes he's the guy for the job. But he's one of the only presidential candidates I've ever seen that doesn't seem hungry for the job just because they've dreamed of being in the oval office their entire career.

I think even people on the right believe this, and out of all the candidates he seems to be one of the main ones that is at least respected for that by people that wildly disagree with his political positions.

It used to be considered a positive thing when a candidate could pick up votes from the other side, but I've seen Sanders vilified for this. If he speaks to those rust belt folks that voted for Trump because they believed him when he lied and said he'd get their factory jobs back, shouldn't it be a good thing that those people might flip back to Bernie? Because unlike Trump, Bernie will actually do things to try and help them, and he's arguably the only guy that Trump won't steamroll later this year.

I don't trust Sanders because in all of this, you don't know WTF he actually wants to do or how he wants to do it.

He's thrived on emotions, not actions and he doesn't care about appealing to anyone with those specific concerns

It is mindblowing to me that there are people who are even remotely paying attention to politics who, after all this time, still don't know what he wants to do or how he's going to do it despite the fact that he's been repeating it to you every day for the past 5 years. It's denial at this point.
