I'm sorry I know it's only 4 people but Bloomberg winning is a little :jbhmm: to me. Dixville has correctly picked 3 of the last 5 GE winners.

Plus, my mom is all in on Bloomberg but she is a conservative black woman who doesn't like the AOC/Omar wing of the party.

You think so? Working class people live in the burbs. I live in the burbs. You never know

More affluent suburbs, perhaps. But not all suburbs :gucci:

These polling numbers showing people feeling more optimistic about their future than in a long time is trouble for Dems because that hits right at the suburbs. Educated men in the suburbs and soccer moms who detest Trump but like what they see w/ their 401ks are not going to get on the Bernie bandwagon. I just don't see it. It's going to be interesting to see with a few more wins if Bernie gets in GE mode (if that's even possible) and move to the middle on a few issues.

If the economy continues chugging along, Bernie is going to get washed in the Dallas/Houston, Atlanta, Orlando suburbs and lose TX/FL/GA by double digits. Then we'll see what happens in the more blue collar suburbs of the midwest/PA.

FL by double digits? I don’t think so

TX by double digits? Perhaps but I think he loses there by 8-9 despite his competitive polling

The effects of negative partisanship helps Bernie. If you read Rachel Bitecofer’s model, it makes a lot of sense

A year ago when the shutdown fukked over tens of thousands of federal employees in Florida (Coast Guard, NASA, DHS, etc. have a large presence) and before they did the okey doke on felons voting rights, I thought Florida was firmly in play. But it seems like Trump's numbers have stabilized there. I've heard some of the bigger DNC pacs like Priorities USA and even Plouffe's org Acronym aren't spending any money in Florida. They're focusing their funds on the midwest states, North Carolina & Arizona. This was before Bernie lapped Biden. Florida with a socialist on the ticket just isn't worth fighting for fam.

I think Ohio is more far gone than FL breh... but apparently some polling has come out showing the Dems being competitive there now compared to Hillary's awful performance there.

I think if they get the nomination, the Sanders campaign will make a play for FL though.
