This is super disappointing. You’re a smart guy but you basically said you’re voting on optics because you’re comfortable enough in life that most of the issues people are fighting for don’t effect you. Respectfully, you just demonstrated exactly why people feel that New Hampshire and Iowa should not be early voting states. People who vote like you don’t decide the elections anymore. HRC won voters like you on 2016 and lost because large amounts of largely POC Obama voters stayed home in the Midwest.

New Hampshire Dems didn’t love Hilary and I didn’t vote for her in either primary or the GE.

The rest of your observation is pretty dead on though. My representatives and Senators have more bearing on policy than the President does, so I look at the president as more of a figurehead than a policy wonk......and I’m afraid to tell you LOTS of people with my age, sex and color are the same way.

The reason why?? I consider myself a realist: I work and live and interact with conservative white people all day. I work for a Utah based company filled with 60% Mormons. I have conversations with them out of the office to get inside their head and it’s apparent that a heavily socialist candidate with sweeping changes to the way America runs and governs and pays for things will simply not get what he/she wants done.

People are so fukking stupid. Biden and Bernie share a lot of the same voters because it's a thing called "name recognition". If Biden drops off, a lot of those voters are hugging up to the name candidate who is Bernie.

Booty Judge got more delegates and the Iowa Democrat Party Leader stated that they cannot alter any incorrect math or results because the counts had been "signed" off on by precinct chairs.
