That’s not supposed to be an objective topic tho

the moderate/centrist wing of the party isn’t down with Bernie, so with that being true, it stands to reason that there should be a conversation about consolidating that wing. That should be the goal right now otherwise all these people running as the alternative to him don’t matter since none of them can be competitive with that segment of the vote remaining fragmented.

The problem with the whole coalescing around a moderate is that Bernie is getting a plurality of moderates himself in a lot of these national polls.

He also gets a plurality of Biden's support if Biden were to just drop out tomorrow.

Despite Biden leading for most of the year, Bernie had kid's gloves on him. Why? Not just cause they're friends and genuinely like each other. But they had crossover support in a lot of these surveys.
