Breh, I mean this sincerely - if Bernie has the most delegates heading into the convention, he will 100% be the nominee.

The party knows overturning the will of the people will be a death blow for 2020 and do irreparable harm to the party. Trust, they know this.

So I would not take the debate comments at face-value considering they came from several candidates who are in currently in do-or-die mode, and similar to Bernie in June of '16, didn't want to in any way look acquiescent to the front-runner. If we're being honest, most of these candidates outside of Bloomberg won't have the funds to stay in this race past April.
That would be a nice simple outcome, but nothing surrounding the first caucuses have been simple with NDA's & incompetence, & influential people within the party now starting to run with Bernie having to convince SD's to vote for him to actually get the nom & not just the people anymore. I can see why people are skeptical, especially after Nevada 2016.
