So you’re agreeing with me that those two have no staying power?

I pointed out that they're still in the race, they've outlasted several competitors, and one of them just spent the most on advertising in Nevada. :ohhh:

Okay, agree to disagree then. To me 'staying power' means actually polling well like the others but whatever :manny:

Legit would probably cry tears of joy if M4A ever passed. Dealing with health insurance companies is legit one of the biggest wastes of time and energy

100% Truth.

If you've ever felt the anguish of watching people you know and love suffer and die because they don't have the financial resources to afford healthcare for even basic shyt like pain management, it's not hard to see why people rate this as their #1 issue.

:mjcry:

It's gonna take a Herculean effort, but if we can make M4A the law of the land it would the greatest tangible gain and victory for the people I've seen in my lifetime.

Obama was an aberration. Our numbers had been increasing on average every election before. It wasn’t some dramatic 15 point drop.

Plus again Dems lost (2000/2004)in our highs pre-Obama.

You said we voted in large numbers. We voted at our lowest numbers in 20 years. We didn’t even drop to Kerry levels, it was Gore or worse in many places. No one said anything about a national huge drop. We dropped by 40 percent in Milwaukee and 15 percent in Detroit (5 percent overall in Wayne County). Bottom line, urban American and young people said nah in 2016 and if we just showed up at Kerry-like levels then Hillary would be President. People are taking whatever story they want to take from 2016. You’re acting as if the problem is Trump country when the problem is our own base wasn’t motivated. Instead of giving urban voters what they want we are trying to woo suburban Republicans because we don’t want to change our policy.

Who is a more reliable vote in November, people of color and young people or a suburbanite someone who is seriously considering voting for Trump?
