You said we voted in large numbers. We voted at our lowest numbers in 20 years. We didn’t even drop to Kerry levels, it was Gore or worse in many places. No one said anything about a national huge drop. We dropped by 40 percent in Milwaukee and 15 percent in Detroit (5 percent overall in Wayne County). Bottom line, urban American and young people said nah in 2016 and if we just showed up at Kerry-like levels then Hillary would be President. People are taking whatever story they want to take from 2016. You’re acting as if the problem is Trump country when the problem is our own base wasn’t motivated. Instead of giving urban voters what they want we are trying to woo suburban Republicans because we don’t want to change our policy.

Who is a more reliable vote in November, people of color and young people or a suburbanite someone who is seriously considering voting for Trump?

How is saying white voters staying home blaming Trump country? That’s Dems not being motivated.

And believe it or not we lost in more places than just the ones the media focused. Obama won NC but Hillary lost it. I know it’s not a reliable Dem stronghold but it was winnable and even when Obama lost it in 2012 he got the most votes.

No one is shocked. Just that if there is shocked it's that folks always knew this was the case that they obfuscated with a bunch of rational. Now their backs are against the wall, they can't find any more barriers to hide behind to hide their true feelings.

Now, the individuals who spent 5 years sayi g how Trump is the worst thing since Hitler, Sanders voters are divisive (when stats show they were less so than 2008 Hillary supporters), and even some saying that supporting democrats is the only thing that matters have to show what they are really about when it's not their preferred candidate leading lol.
