This post is like a Russian nesting doll of idiocy. Elizabeth Warren, who ran the most substantial and issues-based campaign in modern history, apparently ran too much on "identity politics bullshyt". The woman literally made plans the heart of her entire campaign, but apparently that all goes out the window because she dared also acknowledge that she was a woman. If drawing distinctions on the lines of experience and history is considered a "Hillary-esque dig" at Bernie, then Bernie is truly beyond criticism. The idea that she spent more time shytting on Bernie than promoting her own ideas is especially idiotic. She just released the only fukking Coronavirus plan in the field, god forbid she also try and highlight why she thinks she'd make a better President than the rest of the field while she does so.

Anyway, y'all keep telling on yourselves :coffee:
i have whoever youre schooling blocked :ahh:

She is by far the most substantial, issues-based candidate in the race. She did the work and earned the right to also include her identity in her pitch.

She goes out and says "Here's my 100 point plan to deal with the erosion of the working class and rights of marginalized people in this country, and it's all things a President can do all by herself :smugfavre:" and y'all go nuts, jumping on that last part and says she's running on gender. It's absurd.
I didn’t say she ran on gender. You seem to dismiss the woke identity politics gestures she’s made a central part of her campaign as if they don’t exist, when not only do they exist but are a big turn off to a lot of voters and dare I say could possibly partially explained why she’s flopped so bad so far.

Well nobody's voting for her so it doesn't matter.

The problem with "woke identity politics" pandering is when it's used to cover for a lack of substance. Talking about women's rights, black rights, LGBTQ rights, etc isn't pandering when it's being backed up with heavy substance. That's the ideal balance to strike. Otherwise, you're just saying you don't want to hear anything about the plight of marginalized people on some cac shyt :mjpls:

I agree it's a big turnoff to lot of voters, which is why Bernie is doing so well, he makes sure to always include white men in his rhetorical appeals and coalition of the downtrodden :yeshrug:
