I'm going to say the Broncos pay him. I think the backlash would be overwhelming if they don't.
Why would it be overwhelming? That's the NFLPA's responsibility to inform their players of the liabilities, not the teams. He was there, listened to the NFLPA and left, then got injured outside of team activities.
If anything, this should be a learning lesson to those dudes and why they need to show up to team workouts or at least get insurance in case of these type of situations.
His anger and ire should be at the NFLPA who fukked him over and not Denver.
