Because the new IS F is being worked on right now and it won't feature the same engine/drivetrain configuration. This is the F Sport Performance segment.
additionally which V8 Lexus do you own
Lol why so defensive. I never owned a Lexus but this car has the same exact engine as the RCF and GSF so it’s a fair question why they aren’t naming this an ISF.

its going to be about 70K - 75K. a fully loaded IS350 F Sport is about 60K.
I would like an LC500 to but they are 100K brand new.

Even though the LC is gorgeous, I kinda wish Lexus would start moving in a different direction with style. They need a new language to make them talked about again. They seem invisible to me...

Lexus has always been an eye catcher. Plenty of people talking about Lexus. look at the sales numbers across the board. Lexus has always been about reliability first and foremost. Everytime they drops something new THEY ARE ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT. And its always good. Go on their social media and you'll see plenty of people checking and even more owners. Look at the hastags on IG. You guys that comment on this stuff are out of touch with reality.
Everywhere I go I get compliments on both of my Lexus one being an almost 10 year old ISF and the other a 4 year old IS 350.
I also have a Hawkeye Subie as a project car

This is a triggered Lexus owner’s opinion. Only Asian nail salon owners and jap boys into hella frush are checking for Lexus, man. My point stands that they need a new design language. Nobody gives a shyt about the new ISF with the same 5.0 from 10 years ago. Infiniti’s design change is more interesting than Toyota/Lexus....if they would just get their drivetrains worth a shyt, they could be back in it. This is the type of change Lexus needs...

1st luxury car brand I have ever owned, I'm pretty happy with my '11 IS250C. Had an '01 Civic before that, so you can imagine the upgrade.
