Yeah, but the flip side is that his base has eroded from COVID-19 and other factors. He should be reaching out to new voters... instead he is pigeonholing thinking the same base will be back from 2020... which it won't.

scenario makes sense

i could see her making it to around 290, losing 1 or 2 biden swing states, while anti-kamala sentiment in a place like montana costs tester the seat

I haven't followed the Senate races but if Kamala wins the Presidency but the Senate/House is majority Republican we're looking at another Obama term where very little legislation gets passed if anything at all.

I'd have to question any poll that would have Trump above 46-47% ... I just don't see it. That feels like his ceiling. Some of these polls that show Trump with 48-49% I can't see that happening..

Yeah that's a possibility unfortunately. Democrats need to start pouring some money into some of these Senate/House races as well. We know Harris/Walz is the BIG deal but they can't pour everything into that campaign.
