I remember when Biden was panned before he was elected because he would run to the right and every other smear.

We ended up with the most progressive president of our lifetimes.

Centrists hate progressives more than they hate the right wing. I have no doubt about this. I truly believe they would rather have Trump in office rather than someone like Bernie or AOC.

Trump allows them to feel morally superior, but the pesky progressives with their convictions force them to wrestle with abandoning the very liberal values they proclaim to hold.

Thats why you see the rabid hostility from liberals towards progressives on this site and elsewhere online.

But how are progressives any better? The same individuals on this site who spend 24/7 criticizing the Democrats refuse to levy any criticism at the Republicans and even run cover for them.

If a bill fails because 8 Dems didn't vote for it in the Senate, you won't hear a peep about all 49 Republican Senators who failed to vote for it. All you'll hear about is how Dems never wanted to pass it in the first place and there is no difference between the parties.

And then you'll even hear praise towards the Republicans about how at least they keep it real and at least don't fake caring about the masses.

I don't see a real difference between some of leftist thinking on here and Brianna Joy Gray's BS.

I don't see anyone asking for pompoms but the constant sniping and both sides are the same shtick to the point the general public believes it seems counter productive

Maybe the 1-10% you'll find common ground with whatever Heritage Foundation/Federalist judges and new administration is worth it over say 60-90% of whatever dem judge and administration
