Dems have ceded the moral high ground to the GOP. Simple as that. Dems need to re-establish their interests there and make it seem they take family values seriously.

This doesn't really add up when you consider that the figurehead of the GOP is a philanderer who's been divorced multiple times. The GOP's "family values" stance is selectively applied and full of contradictions. Democrats support family. They just support different compositions of families too.
