Honestly, next season won’t really matter, since Schoen will likely stay. Giants will be a 4-6 win team, Dart will regress, and the temptation to draft qb in a projected loaded 2027 class.

The whole trade down shyt wasn’t even guaranteed at 2 really. Expecting the Giants to lose last week and today wasn’t realistic because 1) Raiders are terrible, 2) Giants are not a bad offense when they let Dart go, 3) Cowboys suck and defense is terrible anyway.

Plus, remember this team should have 3-4 more wins to begin with. So this shouldn’t have been a conversation.

I’m cool with Dart beating the Eagles and Cowboys in the same season anyway, especially as a rookie.

Hope they hire someone to make decisions and kinda demote Schoen, nail the head coach hire.

It most definitely was guaranteed with Mendoza and moore being the only 2 quarterbacks teams want. And between the Jets/Cardinals/browns all needing a qb and the raiders staying at 1 we held all the cards.

Unless Joe gets fired, why would a good HC candidate come here, when Schoen is a bad gm and will likely get fired next year? Given the above in mind, the Giants will be stuck with either Kaftka or desperate guys like Gruden.
