Notice how the Seattle Seahawks built their team through linemen and defensive backs. Using the late 1st round and 2nd round for RB and WR.

They didn’t use their top 10 picks (Charles Cross and Devon Witherspoon) on a TE or RB like the dumb ass Atlanta Falcons.

This is what a lot of people on this board don’t understand. It’s not about players. It’s about value and overall roster construction.

They don’t have the so-called 3rd best player in the league in Bijan Robinson. And who gives a shyt? They don’t need him to be a winning team.

The Titans interviewing The Clapper for a head coaching position :laff:

Why?

You have a talented quarterback in Cam Ward.
And Ward showed signs of progress as the season went on.

Jason Garrett hasn't shown the ability to develop anyone or even run a competent offense in this league.

Garrett was the quarterbacks coach in Miami in 2005 and 2006 -- when the Dolphins were running out Gus Frerotte and Joey Harrington.

Then he was the OC/Head Coach in Dallas from 2007-2019 and while he had some success there (Dallas was a Top 10 scoring team 6 times in 13 seasons), the Cowboys never won a single playoff game.

Then he goes to the Giants to be the Offensive Coordinator from 2020-2021, and they finish 31st in scoring both years.

What would Garrett have shown anyone in the last 5 years to make them think he deserves another HC job?

3: 2009 Wild Card vs. the Eagles (Home), 2014 Wild Card vs. the Lions (Home), and 2018 Wild Card vs. the Seahawks (Home)

The Real Titletown

Rams thought my Falcons took an L

Not so fast lol. There is obviously no guarantee that the Rams pick will be good either. And we beat them to make their draft spot worse

This is why when you see a player that you want, you go and get that player, "value" be dammed. People focus far too much on value for draft picks when most picks don't turn out to be studs. If you really like someone that has a fourth round grade by many, go ahead and take them in the second round if you believe they are a game changer. It's not worth trying to get the perfect value for draft picks.
