Yes, red states gained electoral votes. But that doesn’t mean their politics are better, it means housing is cheaper and unions are weaker. People are moving for cost-of-living, not because they want Greg Abbott or Ron DeSantis. And if Democrats are failing, the answer isn’t more of the same, it’s a serious shift. Not Clinton-style, but a politics that actually takes on corporate landlords, health insurers, and greedy developers.
