Liberals/progressives are the smallest voting bloc that’s why it doesn’t work nationally

You need those moderates to win.
Conservatives need moderates to win as well what is your argument ?

There losing working class voters because republicans told them Dems care more about illegals then people in their own country and it worked

Also the culture war. Working class people are socially conservative

Working class people are not a huge fan of gays trannies or immigrants as a whole

Yes, Republicans weaponize culture war stuff, but that only works when people feel like the system's already failed them.

The Democrats haven’t delivered: jobs, housing, healthcare. It leaves space for scapegoating. Working class voters aren’t inherently anti-immigrant or anti-LGBT as they’re frustrated, and whoever gives them an outlet gets their attention. Blaming "wokeness" ignores the economic rot both parties helped create. It’s not that Zohran’s ideas don’t fly, it’s that the party hasn’t tried seriously running on them outside deep blue zones.

Unsurprising to see many Centrist / New Republican Democrats losing their shyt over this. It's a sign though that they are becoming the new Conservatives. All We need now if for Zohran to talk about Trans Rights to make people have a brain aneurysm.

We better starting getting the electable part if we want to save whatever we have left of the country by 2026/2028

WRONG dems lost on the ecomomy

Immigration tied to the economy

a majority of working class folk largely don't give a fukk about economic issues and it is a fascinating cognitive dissonance to witness in societies.
Again…the only people who are voting for Mamdani are the people who could ironically afford to still live there. ALL THE POOR PEOPLE HAVE LEFT FOR RED STATES!

Democrats are already in control and failing to deliver. Who else are they gonna blame? Taxes aren’t the issue here. It’s the goddamn regulation. Too many interest groups.

Trump racked up MASSIVE margins in blue states in 2024. I keep telling yall...

In fact, Red states have GAINED electoral college votes.

We know we are fukked in 2032 (especially after dems win in 2028, everybody isn’t flying in jet cars in 2029 and subsequently is pissed and wants change again) but let’s worry about that in 2031

For now let’s :blessed:

Zohran’s ideas may not fly in the Rust Belt , but the anger he’s speaking to? That’s everywhere. Housing, healthcare, debt and those problems don’t stop at city lines.

Moderates/Centrists can keep saying “tighten up and win,” but if that worked, why are Dems still losing ground with working-class voters? Maybe it's time to try something that actually gives people a reason to vote for them, and not just more “not as bad as the other guys.”
