Asylum applicants are documented migrants. FYI

Yes we can. It’s always happened. They broke basic border policy.

A stronger backstop helps a weaker policy floor

Not my problem. Raise your standards.

What does this bullshyt have to do with bail reform?

Illegal immigrants spit in the faces of legal immigrants

The purpose of the backstop is to be firm and complete.

Asylum applicants are documented migrants. FYI
Exactly. So stop lumping them in "illegals". Asylum seekers follow legal channels-they're just inconvenient for a narrative built on fear.

Yes we can. It’s always happened. They broke basic border policy.

You can deport people. Just like you can jail teens for weed, or fine the homeless. What you can do, and what you should do are not the same. Mass deportations isn't policy, its just political theater that wrecks communities and economies.

A stronger backstop helps a weaker policy floor
That’s a recipe for burnout, overreach, and failure. You don’t build a house by reinforcing the safety net, you fix the damn floor.

Not my problem. Raise your standards.

It is your problem if you live in a society that criminalizes the poor instead of helping them. High standards mean expecting solutions that work, not just ones that feel tough.

What does this bullshyt have to do with bail reform?

Bail reform’s goal of stop locking up poor, nonviolent people, is solid. If it failed in rollout, you fix the rollout. You don’t junk the principle. Unless, of course, your priority is punishment, not justice.

Illegal immigrants spit in the faces of legal immigrants
That’s projection. Most undocumented immigrants want to follow the legal path, but the system is intentionally slow, underfunded, and designed to keep people out. If anything, they highlight how broken and exclusionary the current system is.

The purpose of the backstop is to be firm and complete.

Sure, be firm when needed, but don’t pretend the backstop is the whole structure. If your roof is collapsing, you don’t brag about how strong your safety net is. You fix roof. Being "firm" doesn’t mean being stupid, cruel, or over-reliant on cops to patch policy failures.

So why are you defending illegals you stupid fukk?

Mass deportations are the policy of a competent and efficient nation

Normal people dont support degeneracy and vagrancy

Bail reform failed because of progressives like you were led around by incessant humanizing of criminals not attempts to adjudicate trial procedure from the indigent.

Undocumented migrants should apply for legal migration at their home countries US embassy.

I support the reviewal process for existing legal residents.

I thought you supported law enforcement? The collapse of society is non-negotiable.

Why do you keep bringing up Long Island county residents and politics to NYC and Politics?

Long Island has its own massive problems which includes a massive college educated Brain drain as the students of Hofstra University, Stony Brook University, Old Westbury University and SUNY farmingdale are all leaving Long Island for NYC.

This doesn’t even get to the Meth and Opiod crisis that hit Sullivan and the western part of Suffolk county.

They and you need to worry about their own issues before talking about NYC.

Not even surprised to see you posting the racist pseudoscience believer and founder of Quillette, Claire Lehmann.

Today At least 3+ members of the US House of Representatives in the NY congressional delegation have said Mamdani is bad for the party’s attempt to win the House in the midterms. This isn’t a “Long Island” issue. it’s a Nationwide democrat issue.
