I've never liked Kamala, but I think it's unfair to blame it on her.

Running the VP of an unpopular President is generally not a good idea. You can double that effect when there is high inflation, inflation is just an incumbent killer (ask Jimmy Carter).
Biden's unpopularity was mostly around him being old as he'll and as a result of being old he wasn't able to be out there selling the American people on his achievements and he didn't look like he had 4 more years in him.

Kamala harris was unpopular before. In fsct she was so unpopular she was outperformed by basically everyone when she ran for president in 2020z.

I said it back when it happened that pyzhinh gerout there and giving her the nomination was going to be bad.

One because she was so disliked that people weren't even telling Joe to step aside so she'd be president and the defacti nominee with experience.

Two, because it opens up the same complaints of folks feeling like voting doesn't matter and candidates are appointed thus depressing turnout.

Kamala has no natural base...

Breh, I mostly agree with you.

  1. Other than Gaza, which is a huge stain on his legacy, I think Biden is the best President of my lifetime. Before October 2023, I was probably one of his biggest stans on here and I argued against people who said he was too old to run again (obviously I ended up with egg on my face).
  2. I never liked Kamala, and was shytting on her throughout 2020.

However, Biden screwed her and left her in a bad position. Hindsight is 2020 (no pun intended), but a lot of Dems thought she was the best option once Biden dropped out because the general was so close and there were complications tied to campaign funding for anyone other than her (Donors had given that money to Biden/Harris, which she was on the ticket). I agreed with this assessment and did not think it wise to leave the eventual nominee with an even shorter runway than she had.

But she did what she had to do within her capabilities. She campaigned hard, she tried to persuade swing voters, etc. I never thought she was a great candidate and still don't (doubt she'll make it out of a primary in 2028 if she runs), but I don't think it's fair to put blame on her for the 2024 loss.

That blame should go to Biden and his inner circle for refusing to drop out, especially after we heard news that his own internal polling showed that DJT might get 400+ electoral votes against him.

I've never been a Kamala fan and don't think I ever will be, just saying it's unfair to put the blame on her for last year's election. Biden fukked her over and put her in a bad position IMO.

She overperformed Joe biden. Biden internals had him trump winning losing 350+ ec votes. Anyone blaming kamala is a flat out idiot

Kamala was right there with Biden every day, knew how physically bad he was, and how bad they were hiding it from us, and said nothing. she was part of the coverup at best

and at worst, she didn't even want a real primary in 2023, because Newsom would have humiliated her. so she calculated that it was better for her, personally, to wait around for biden's health to get exposed, and she could step in as president or nominee with zero resistance

so she might not deserve any blame, but definitely not any sympathy. and anyone serious about winning in 2028 needs to stop treating her with kid gloves, and shout down her 2028 campaign. she's a loser

she'd make a great Attorney General for President Shapiro :obama:

I read her book. I just don't agree. The play book she used was based around what happens if Joe Biden died while in office.

:mjlol:

So when even he was hesitant to endorse her when it was known he planned to withdraw it was. A Wrap.

Nothing about policy or even her ability to do the job. She just isn't a good candidate and when you see people over performing her not even a year after Trumo became president again.

Trump got another layup where he could run his sexism and the right wing media would amplify it.

He loses to basically any straight male.

No dem in Biden’s administration was winning primary or not
why is that? Do you think because someone was a part of the Biden administration they're somehow not their own candidates.

Heat check?

Lina Khan?

Why do Pete and Kamala still poll as favorites?

Biden was just old. That was the criticism. Not sure why we're trying to pretend his shyt went south when he got old and started glitching out.
