gas just hit 2.99 at costco for the first time i've seen in vegas, and i've been here for 4 years republicans take credit for that, they don't shy away from it because they're scared of greta thunberg

now i don't really credit trump for lowering gas, but it is lower. i know buttigieg would prefer i buy an electric car

It may be lower in Vegas but where I’m at gas is slightly higher than it was in Jan 2025 under Biden.

If Trump is going to completely gut our attempts to combat climate change, gas better be under $2 otherwise it’s a complete failure because we aren’t even seeing short term gains for mortgaging our future

i believe in climate change, but Dems are gonna have to come to terms with the fact that "fighting climate change" is a bullshyt ass issue, that loses to "lower energy bills" every time

John Kerry's private jet emits more carbon in one flight to Paris than i'll be responsible for in my lifetime. i have a hard time with these people demanding i use a paper straw

If you had to pick an option that provided short term pain for long term gain would you rather pay more for gas so that our economy can go “green” which could potentially bring lower energy costs in the future

Or pay more for everything imported via tariffs so that manufacturing could come back?

Both parties believe short term pain is ok because the future would be worth it but which is the wiser path to take
