They said the same thing 6-years ago with the 2020 All-Star Game introducing the target score. That was "the best All-Star in years as well" (and it was, tbh)
Ironically, Kawhi balled out in that one and won All Star MVP. Everyone was saying the All Star game was back (Earvin voice) and were talkin how lit it would be the next year/years to come when KD and Curry would be back. Everyone was saying Silver's tampering of the format wasn't dumb after all.
All this sound familiar?

Sure it was decent, but the bar has literally been the lowest it’s ever been. The all star weekend was on the verge of collapse. We essentially had to bully these nikkas into playing somewhat decent basketball. Ultimately the ratings will be terrible and they’ll go back to east vs west next year.
