I know TOO many ppl like that:mjcry:
shyt dude, my dad was an example of that.

Gotta have an exit strategy once you’re older
You reach a age where if you are late 20s, or early 30s. You should have a resume of at minimum of 5 years at one job role.
You’re right, but like, another dude I know owns his own business.

He makes great paper, but if he got hurt? He’s essentially fukked. Or if he has a stroke? Get’s hit by a bus? It’s almost like it comes with the territory. A workplace hazard

Of course if you can move up and get yourself out of the field, that’s great.

I'm at 30 an hour but I'm tired of working I'm really trying to start a business either in the trucking industry or real estate ...I need to hit 6 figures in 2023 and 7 figures beyond that ..
I just need a surefire business idea that will explode due to the demand and economy needing said businesses

This dude at work said the same thing. Gotta have an exit strategy. He said he getting off the floor and into that office. The way we are micromanaged on the machining floor is ridiculous. If our machine isn't running for 5 minutes or more, we have to sign in on the app and record why:mjlol:

Two adults making this wage would be very comfortable in a lot of places. Most places even.

There's more to the world than Los Angeles and New York City.
That's what I'm confused about. There's a lot of pushback in here when I know alot of people aren't even making $21 an hour and are managing to get by. It just comes down to lifestyle choices. But the cheat code is to find a compatible partner that makes the same or more. That's how you truly flourish out here.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
A lot of Coli brehs live in NY / NJ so I kind of understand that sentiment
$21 an hour is $2700 a month after taxes as a single person with no kids.

Rent alone is taking close to half that off the rip. $1100 at a minimum for a studio or 1 bedroom.

You would have to be frugal in order to survive.

Couldn't agree more!

Side note to folks, please don't openly talk about your salary or hourly wage. You're either going to make someone feel bad or feel bad for you
