10 years ago in a LCOL state, that was just fine to live comfortably even without a roommate so long as you don’t have kids. Not sure what that equates to these days though

How I it, someone has to start somewhere, so if someone makes $21 to start, then that is OK depending on their living situation.

But, I hope people who make that much will strive to make more!
