None of that stuff you posted is futuristic
technological growth as actually slowed down
All that stuff you posted is just better or smaller versions of stuff that already existed
They leap from their being zero computers to those big ass ones taking up a whole room is much greater than having an iphone in comparison to the tech from the 80's
the leap from there being no airplanes to wars being fought with them is the type of gap people were expecting
airplanes were invented over one hundred years ago and we're still using them, if we were in the future we wouldn't be air craft or even in the same type of propulsion systems or fossil fuel
astronauts were in space before cable television, so what's so amazing about an astronaut taking a picture of himelf
Technology has been held back by greedy corporate interests

3d printed houses are futuristic because this is something that has never existed in any time prior

I half agree with you, but I wouldn't say technology is being held back, it's just taking a different direction. People decades ago were thinking we were gonna move into the direction with flying cars and things along the lines of that. I feel that the direction we're taking now is more effective and convenient for our everyday lifestyle. Though we are doing a lot of stuff with the idea in mind of saving money, which is like you are saying with the corporate aspect. That's why a lot of things are going more digital now. Lessens the cost of getting the materials to produce things, or hiring actual people for jobs that can be eventually be programmed to do with out the help of a person.None of that stuff you posted is futuristic

All of our tech dreams came true.
Now I just need my diamond encrusted bones so I can withstand a fall off a building
