I got a cac friend who played college football. He could knock out 15-20 easily full ROM, controlled reps of 225. Think his max is 315. Strongest natural bencher I know.
I used to warm up with 225... 8 to 10 reps... before I had a kid and lost all time and drive to lift

You have to touch the bar to your chest. That's full range of motion. Without full range of motion it's not a real rep.
