Bauer da gawd transcends all timelinesCould Jack Bauer even work in modern TV? Part of his charm was he was so unhinged and willing to be the bad guy for the greater good. This is man that executed a criminal and sawed off his head in front of his boss because he deemed it necessary.
Can you do stuff like that on modern TV. Didn’t Jack kill allies in the name of getting terrorist?

One of the streamers, probably Prime will have no problem with Jack torturing Americans for the greater good.
S5 is peak i understand... that's the airport one I think...cant get past s5![]()
I guess on a streaming service it's different. 24 was on network TV. I assumed it would come back to that.Reacher does it every episode on Prime

Jack Bauer is the answer to what happens when a good man is pushed too far. After Nina killed his wife he was never the same. The ends always justified the means.
Damn they killed almost every woman Jack ever got involved with. I think the woman from season 2 got away with her life though. When they got Renee, the world was in danger. The WHOLE world.![]()

24 was a Fox show but Fox TV doesn't do much scripted TV anymore, mostly reality shows and the Simpsons/Family Guy Sunday block. I doubt they would pay for a new season of 24. Disney owns it and would probably send it to Hulu/FX if they greenlit it.I guess on a streaming service it's different. 24 was on network TV. I assumed it would come back to that.
